I helped her get started. “Why are you doing this presentation?” I asked.
“Because I have to,” she answered like a tween.
“Yeah, but why. Why did you pick this topic and what do you want your audience to take away?”
As a PA person, do you communicate because you have to or because you want your audience to know something, to understand, or to feel a certain way?
If you’re communicating because you have to, consider not communicating.
