Your organization is professional.
Your organization pays attention to detail.
Your organization executes the basics to perfection.
Brace yourself: copy editing is one of those basics.
Absolutely get the message right, first. Accurate content, too. When we ship, we don’t want to give commanders, fellow PAOs, journalists or readers any reason to second guess our work.
Because if we can’t get punctuation, tense or word choice right, they’ll wonder what else we could have missed.
