The core to everything we have to say.

  1. Focus on Mission. We protect America.
  2. Always Be Messaging (ABM). Information is motivation; understanding is influence. Meanwhile, lies will destroy communication.
  3. Everyone Knows Everything, All the Time. Be flat, fast and precise to build understanding and drive action.
  4. Effects, Not Efforts. Start at the end and work backwards.
  5. Ask the Right Questions. Think like a journalist and trust your gut.
  6. Be Part of the Solution (BPS). You can solve anything with the right relationships and a white board.
  7. Execute the Basics to Perfection to be truly elite. You know what to do.
  8. Generate Options. Pen the first draft and speak in terms of next steps.
  9. Talk About Something Important. Hone your bucket of responses; save useless pleasantries for garbage time.
  10. It’s Not About You. See #1.

What have we missed?
